Our Team
Our team of educators, ocean scientists, explorers, and prophets are working together to help save our oceans and educate our society on marine science, exploration and the importance of our worlds oceans to our past, our present and our future.
Our History
Our organization has been at work for decades in understanding our impacts and restoring our degraded coastal and ocean waters. Our primary focus is in the central Cape Cod Watersheds of Lewis Bay, Parker's River and Bass River. Our organization was involved with the National Ocean Conference in 1998 and we sponsored and carried out a Cape Cod Year of the Ocean Conference and Exhibit at Cape Cod Community College. Since that time we have been engaged in applied research in marine ecology, aquaculture and finding answers to help save our seas. We are now engaged with the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School Systems for the Cape Cod Watershed Institute Center for Experiential Education, Lifelong Learning and Workforce Training for the Cape Cod Region. We have also become the US Flagship Campus for Newton Rooms America. Combining the three we become a venue for marine history, research and exploration, innovation and education.
Our Mission
We focus on making the maximum positive effort for bringing about a more sustainable, resilient community by including History, marine science and technical innovation to help save our seas and our world.. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference that can be replicated across Cape Cod, our nation and our planet to foster progress, collaboration and hope for a brighter future.

Check out this great video, it's an old overview and sadly things have gotten worse not better. There is no longer a ZooQuarium, it's the Whydah Museum. All of the aquarium, creatures died of neglect as the business died. And our environment has done the same, more decades have past and our oceans are in deep trouble as is our Cape Cod and our Planet. This is our reality today and only we can change the course we are on. What we have been doing is killing us and our planet.

Bayview Beach Video
Here is a home video taken in 1954 or 1955 by Jack Braginton-Smith of the creation of Bayview Beach as a result of the granting of an easement across the Braginton-Smith property at 8 Columbus Avenue in Hyannis Park. Stipulations included in the easement were that the beach would remain free and have swingsets for kids. This is why it is there for anyone to enjoy today, and why it is one of the few remaining free beaches on Cape Cod.
